Yes! If you're talking full length dress, I'd say look for something with lots of recovery. It will look very small off body and it should stretch A LOT. Make sure as I mentioned that it has at least 5% or more spandex/elastane/nylon in the content. All this helps to contour the body instead of grow "away" from the body which tends to look dumpy. Also, a smaller rib stitch generally has greater recovery than the wider rib stitches.
